this golden ale has a nice sweet, floral and herbal aroma, is light-medium bodied, and quite easy drinking. Nothing spectacular, but the sweetness and mellow belgian yeast go well together.

Sampled on 1/1/2012. This Belgian ale pours a slightly cloudy medium orange color from a 16oz can. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, peaches and apricots, some apples. A medium to light bodied Belgian style ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Not sue I notice the poppy seeds, except perhaps a touch of herbal bitterness. A light and refreshing beer, that is very easy to drink. There is a touch of dryness at the finish. Would make a nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, dry and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some nectary and honeyish notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some quite dry bittery notes. Fruity, but quite bitter and dry aftertaste.
