With a malt base composed of 50% wheat, this is the perfect summertime beer and one that is steeped in German tradition. While developed spontaneously in the 16th century, the Gose found its prominence in the 1800’s as it became a favorite in taverns across the Deutschland. Distinctively tart, salty, and refreshing. Finishing up this brew we added grapefruit rinds and grains of paradise to balance out this glass of goodness.

Taps clear golden with a thin eggshell head. Aroma offers fruity character, nothing else. Flavor delivers sharp fruity tones and a bit of malt. Mouthfeel is average.
