Triumph proudly pours unfiltered "real ale" finished and dispensed in the traditional British style, served at cellar temperature (50-55 degrees). Though Ireland is justly famous for its stouts, its OTHER native beer style, red ale, has found a significant following in recent years. Murphy’s, Smithwick’s, and Killian’s are all examples of Irish Reds characterized by caramel malt flavors and roastiness.

On draft at the Philly location. The pour was amber colored, full sized head for the style, off-white-ish. The aroma was caramel, toffee, some fruity notes. The flavor followed suit, a generally dry presentation, good hop-malt balance, flavors on the lighter side: grains, fruity esters, toast, earthy hops. The body was moderate to light for the style.
