Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Served in a snifter. Poured a hazy, pastel red with a nice white head. Aroma was a bit sweet with the alcohol coming to the front. Mouthfeel was light-medium, pretty smooth. Flavor was a little sugary, with some good malts and fruits, not bitter at all. Alcohol was hidden well in the taste, despite the aroma. Tripels aren't usually my style but this one was clearly different and I definitely enjoyed it.
