    Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/10/2013. 2013 version. This Imperial Stout pours a dark black color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and sweet. A medium to full bodied Imperial Stout. The malts are chocolate and coffee, dark fruit and sweet. The hops are earthy. Decent balance. Good carbonation. Nice interplay between the dark fruit and roasty/chocolate malts. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

    says 12.2 on rb but 13% at the brewery. this beer ain't foolin around. unapolagetically boozy, vinous, and sweet, with complex dark fruit and chocolate/coffee aroma and flavor with little in the way of hops coming through. very tasty as a desert beer.
