Gilbert White beer is an adaptation of one of Gilbert Whites own recipes. Keeping as close to the original as is possible, using only the finest carefully sourced hops, and smoked barley, the result is a strong, 6.0% ABV, smokey ale, golden in colour with a moderate hoppy bite. Not only is this beer available on tap, it is also been bottled "bright", so that every last drop can be enjoyed!

Hazy pale orange with low minimal white head. Smokey aroma of ropes and ham (is this from Bamberg???) with notes of herbs and grassy hops. Yum! Full flavour of smoke, fudge and caramel. Mild but long solid aftertaste of peat, toated malts, grass and straw. A damn good cross of Hampshire and Bamberg.
