This Russian Imperial stout is just bursting with an abundance of character! Our biggest beer, coming in at 8.5% abv, is sure to be the new favorite of stout fans. Giant Slayer is an intense stout that presents itself with huge roasted, chocolate, and coffee malt flavors. Although well hopped, this beer is still very balanced. Giant Slayer provides a rich, full bodied drinking experience with dark hints of old world style.

Motor oil, tan foam and what not. Wait, now I taste roasted malts and chocolate. Stop! Is that lingering burnt grains that I taste? There can't be. No there is! It's a slight alcohol aftertaste! This is a great brew at a great price! I think it's "bottle conditioned" but I'm not refined enough to tell.

Picked up a sixer a while back while vacationing in Frankenmuth and sipped on a bottle from time to time. Decent impy stout, but pales in comparison to many of the regulars. Nice thick and dark pour with a huge head and solid lacing. Overly burnt with a strong metallic presence. Notes of bitter chocolate and sturdy coffee.
