Our flagship beer was named after our founder’s grandmother, Dorothy. Easy drinking, mildly hopped, light in color and body. This lager is brewed in the California common style. Clean and crisp, this beer finishes smooth. We are sure this Dorothy’s lager will be as pleasing to you as she was to all of us.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick, frothy eggshell head. Aroma has tempting malty, fruity and yeasty tones. Flavor is fuller than most lagers, even commons - malty, yeasty, a little fruity, a hint of hops. Mouthfeel has well-rounded body and some decent fizz. New world, old world, I’m not afraid of Dorothy or her beers. Makes me wanna head to Iowa!

Bottled 5/21/2015. Pours a light golden color with a small, but quickly disappearing head. Strong grain aroma with hints of yeast and citrus. Tastes as it smells, with grain being the dominant flavor. Crisp, dry finish. Not my usualy style, but a refreshing summer beer. Picked this up along with 2 other TG beers (Smoove Opferator and Zeelander) on a recent road trip to Iowa. Can't wait to go back and grab some more TG beers.

Pours a cloudy light yellow amber with no head the think of. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is fairly potent with hints of malts and lemon. Taste is pretty interesting. Hints of oats, malts, and fresh spring water. Finishes off fairly dry. Probably one of the best Steam Beers I have had to date.
