This newest beer in our trailblazing series inventing our own regional Pils styles is just the sort of crisp, refreshing beer that we expect the people of Wales would love. Every bit as real a style as Italian Pils or our Sub-Saharan West African Pils, this Welsh Pils features Crisp Haná Heritage Malt, the finest Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops, and our favorite lager yeast. The resulting beer is an herbal and delicately spicy lager with a soft mouthfeel and a clean finish. If other brewers get to pretend that minor variations in their Pils recipes count as a new style, then so can we!

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth spicy hoppiness with a pleasing cloud of biscuit like malts in the background. The taste delivers pleasing spicy hoppy bitterness that's making me plenty happy. Behind the tower of hops are smooth notes of biscuit like malts that brings up only mild sweetness in an attempt to counter the firm hoppiness. This is drinking great.
