The first bottled beer to come out of our Single Barrel Series is our red wax Chasing Darkness which has spent the last 18 months aging in a 9-year 4R OBSV barrel provided by friends. While 4R is not one of the normal barrels we procure for the Lumber Project, after trying this barrel, we knew we had to fill it with this base. The higher rye bill included in OBSV imparts notes of plum, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla with a spicy finish
