Agreed this is quite a treat. More different from original Dark Lord than I thought it'd be. Quite sweet, but so damn smooth you just don't care. Not better than the original (trades complexity for a little extra smoothness and a different flavor/aroma) but just as good as a year old bottle, and that's saying a lot. Brandy influence there, but not overbearing. The vanilla is prominent on top of all the chocolate/coffee/licorice/tar aspects of the original. This tasted like a 15% abv cookie.

Rating #13000. Testtubesample received from Sir Fonefan! (Thanks a huge lot!!!). Black colour, no head. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate, some liquorice, mild alcohol and some fruity notes and mild spirits as well. Flavour is quite much in a marvellous balance. Pure love!
