Sampled at GABF on 9/17/2010. This Schwarzbier pours a medium brown color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is slightly roasted malts, chocolaty and sweet. A light to medium bodied Schwarzbier. The malts are chocolate, coffee and a touch sweet. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Good balance. Some nice malt sweetness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
