Comes out of the bottle a warm coffee brown with a fairly thick tan head. Coffee and caramel dominate the tempting but not too sweet aroma. Sweet caramel and coffee are the main components of the excellently stouty flavor, well supported by the roast malt undertone. This blend is somewhat but not excessively sweet. Texture is very viscous and very fizzy, leaving a finish of coffee and sweet roast malt.

RBAG 2012 - Beer is black….shocking I Know!! Aroma is relatively mild for the style but still has a high degree of yum yum. Deep milk chocolate, some socks, sweetness from fruit, huge roast malt. Very surprised coffee from the Beer Geek Breakfast isn’t showing up. Taste is awesome, smooth chocolate, hints of ash and smoke. Beer has a medium bitter finish. Mild vanilla showing up now…..coffee turning up now the longer I drink. Great beer THANKS SAVVY!!!
