This lager has the most complex grain bill of any beer that we brew. In addition, we roast grains in our ovens and add our own proprietary apple smoked grain, for even more complexity. The final product is a smooth, easy drinking, lightly smoked, delicious brew.

A very Baltic portery type beer, black, somewhat smoky, malty and brewed with lager yeast. Not sure if that was the intent but that's what it reminds me of. A very rich beer, lots of layers and much better at cellar temp than cold. Another dog provided by kinger, if I didn't drink em all I'd have a kennel by now!

Pours an opaque deep brown producing a foamy tan head and thick lacing. Rich, silky and creamy....medium bodied dark brew. Very malty, would have no idea this was brewed with a lager yeast if not identified as such. Hearty roast, toast, wood and chocolate with a touch of nuts and a hint of vanilla. Fantastic malt driven dark lager. Perhaps a touch of smoked malt, but nothing to push this into that category. Great offering from the Dog.
