Sampled from bottle, thanks to Phishpond. Pours hazy copper-orange with a nice head and lace. VERY aromatic with tropical fruits and brett funk. Beautiful aroma. Wild yeast dominates the flavor in a most pleasant way with some bready malts. Vinous, a hint of oak. Dry with aggressive carbonation. Quite drinkable - truly one the you can enjoy all afternoon.

Bright and lively is right. Brightly funky, a little winey and oak. Low bitterness and some lemon and grape tartness in both flavor and aroma. A classic contemplative yet sessionable beer. Loved it.

Phishpond sends me this bottle with explicit instructions to let it age 4-5 months to let the Brett work. What do I do? Forget and open it and share it Saturday night. WTH? Beautiful lightly clouded golden orange pour with a tall white head producing copious amounts of lacing throughout, with wonderful zesty carbonation. Pears, light funk and champagne in the first taste and aromas, nicely tart and sour but not bracingly, pears and fruits and citrus zest dominate, bubble gum, dry Chardonnay, then the new Brett and yeasts shine through with a nice funk and zestiness, some floralness, even more intense on all levels as it warms slightly. Travis suggests (texting him as I drink it), "Let Kim try it!" So I do; she likes it, well, loves it. She says, "Pears, fruits, yum! Yeah, I could drink this often." Winner. Fantastic beer from a fantastic little brewery and a fantastic guy. Huge thanks Travis. Very well received all around.

This was brought back rather incognito by pfoxyjohn via phishpond. The bottle is champaign style, no label, mysterious. Inside is a very vibrant and lively wild ale. A very well done beer with perfect flavors to compliment the same aromas. Really on the level with NG Serendipity without being as fruity and a bit less sweet.
