Taps opaque coffee sable with a minimal tan head. Aroma features roast malt, bitter wood, and subtle cherry notes. Flavor ups the cherry component so it holds its own against the woody tone; molasses and subtle coffee notes appear as well, and sweet fruit nicely balances the bitter character. Viscous mouthfeel shoes lively fizz and a cherrywood finish. Wake and smell the cherries!
