Have pretty much enjoyed all the side projects from terrapin so i was happy to see this .. . Pours a deep brown .. light head, light lacing .. . good dark roast, burnt molasses, and decaf espresso .. . light mouth for an impy stout .. . pretty good libation.. . . .

Nice. Pours black with a generous tan head. The lacing has lacing. Aroma is serious. Flavor has expected tones but additionally the alcohol is a bit more apparent. Nice finish.

Aroma is rich and smoky with undertones of quality coffee, unsweet chocolate and molasses, like a fine mocha with just a bit of an alcohol nip. It pours an opaque sable with a thick, fine-bubbled light tan head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor has firm tones of semi-sweet chocolate, fine coffee, molasses and toffee, as well as a good alcohol nip that gets your attention but it not overpowering or too fierce. Texture is smooth and quite fizzy, leaving behind a fairly persistent tingle, a not-quite-subtle alcohol bite, and a dollop of sweetness. Heartily recommended!
