Pommes classique is a natural handcrafted cider made with great care. In hte same time honoured method as Normandy cider. Only the finest Elgin apples are hand picked, gently pressed and fermented, with secondary fermentation taking place in the bottle. This releases natural yeasty flavours that highlight green apple and brioche nuances. A delicate mousse leads to a full mouth feel with a dry elegant finish.

Bought down in Cape Town,SA at &Union .. . Great looking bottle, the cider pours a deep yellow, some hazy and lots of bubbles .. . lots of apple in the nose, some twigs and 7 day old apple too, and lots of yeast also .. . pretty complex for a cider, refreshing and intriguing .. . would definitely buy again and a wonderful addition to the South African Cider scene!! .. . . yes, its going very well...
