330 ml capped bottle.Poured an unfiltered hazy burgundy-brown coloured ale wth a minimum beige foamy head that had near no retention. Mid-sized carbonation. Many floating sediments. Poor lacing. The aroma is strong caramel malts, spicy, licorice and orange peels bitter chocolate. The flavour is caramel malts, fruity, prunes, dark raisins, lychee, orange bitter chocolate, spicy, pepper. The mouthfeel is round. This medium bodied ale has a slight hoppy bitter finish. A pleasant tasting Begian Ale.

Bottle (from Cracked Kettle). Deep hazy murky brown colour with mediumsized beige head. A bit lively beer. Aroma is spices, licorice, yeast and some rather sweet notes. Flavour is much the same, and surprisingly sweet.

Pours out in a hazy dark ruby brown colour with a low tan foam. Compact and well-rounded aroma of fudge, nuts, raisins and whipped cream. Solid yet cottonly rounded flavour of fudge, raisins, prunes, crackers and yeast. Long balanced finish of fudge, nuts, yeast and mild anise.
