The perfect balance of three distinct divergences. Allowed to initially flower with Belgian ale yeast, The Pit & The Pendulum was then incarcerated with Brett and freshly puréed peaches to intensify the trifecta of its persona. Enjoyable fresh, but also a good one for the cellar, as the Brett continues to contemplate its environment. Malts: 2 Row, Carapils, Pilsner Caramel. Belgian Candy Sugar Hops: Bravo, Sorachi Ace, Sterling

Shared 750 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.3%. Orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of oak, lemons, peaches, orange wine and brettanomyces / farmhouse. Moderately sour flavour, brettanomyces, oak, lemons and peaches, moderate bittering hops.

Pours dark, hazy, nearly opaque golden with a fairly thick but effervescent ivory head. Aroma has peach, pear, yeasty, and subtle malty tones. Flavor starts out fruity and sweet, then adds notes of sour fruit, malt, hops, yeast and - is that coriander? Definitely peach. Mouthfeel has firm, viscous body that is smooth and pleasing if not too fizzy. Drop in and swing one.
