What is hard cider? Simply put, it’s the fermented juice of apples creating an ale-like beverage. The alcoholic strength is similar to beers and coolers – a bit more than beer, a bit less than coolers. It’s as popular in England as ale, and widely consumed in Australia and France. In the U.S it’s often called draft cider. Ironwood Hard Cider is a lively off-dry beverage full of fresh apple flavour, crafted from a blend of 15 varieties of locally grown apples. Tempted by the apple? Satisfy your curiosity – and your thirst with Ironwood Hard Cider! Serve chilled.

Pours a clear light gold with a fizzy bubbly head goes away immediately. Fairly heavily carbonated. Apple and pear aromas. Flavours are pears and apples, some subtle acidic notes. Very sweet. Big bodied mouthfeel. Dry finish. Not bad but very tangy on the palate, making seem a little bit sour.
