"Lasse i Gatan," or "Lasse in the Street," is named after the Swedish hijacker Lars Gathenhielm who by royal mandate ravaged the Danish and Norwegian waters in the early 1700s. The original recipe to Lasse i Gatan we developed in 2011 so we put it in the SM for Homebrewing and got a silver medal. It is a very dark, strong and sharp beer with a soft but distinct aroma of coffee. It is brewed including pale ale malt, brown malt and roasted barley and flavored with a sharp esspresso from roastery Johan & Nyström.

Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pours dark chocolate brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma delivers molasses, roast malt and coffee notes. Flavor presents roast malt, coffee, chocolate and subtle toffee tones. Mouthfeel has OK fizz and body. No Lasse, no more.
