Double black is no joke. This is a very black beer with a dark brown bubbly head. Huge wafts of coffee and chocolate intermingle with the roast and alcohol. The alcohol is noticeable in the flavour but the damn coffee and chocolate flavours are so pleasing that you can't help but love this beer. A sipper for sure!

Bottled@Mes & Sim's Wedding (Thanks to the random guy with a bottle, who gave me a pour!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some wooden notes, liquorice, mild toasted notes as well as some slight alcoholic sweetness. Flavour is being liquorice, vanilla, chocolate, some slight toasted notes as well as mild plum and wood as well.

Amazing is an understatement, I was able to obtain a two finger sample of this treat and that was more than enough to impress. The strength is evident, but not overpowering. Smoother than I expected with a thick richness rarely found. Burnt, bourbon, raisin, plum, sherry, port, molasses, chocolate.......and on and on and on.
