Hård (5,6%) är en lite starkare och lite fylligare ale i brittisk anda. Den är karamelligt maltig och bryggd med pale ale-, melanoidin- och Crystal malt. Humlen är amerikansk och engelsk. Hård är en öl där humlen står tillbaka lite till förmån för maltigheten. Den lämpar sig utmärkt som umgängesöl men även som en öl till god mat.

Pours out in a deep and slightly hazy reddish brown colour with a firm and lasting fluffy off-white head. Rounded and rather rich aroma of fudge, nuts, currant-leaves and dark berries. Medium-bodied with notes of black-currant, toasted malts with a mild salty undertone. Rather solid body with quite a lively carbonation. Medium-bitter finish of nut-shells and currant-leaves with sweetish malty undertones of fudge, milky chocolate and toasted malts. Well-made old-school English-style stuff.
