light corn and skunk...gotta drink ice cold to be enjoyed, but it's possible. Still popular with the fam in NY when they're not drinking Canadian......

pours a very pale yellow color with a large white head that fades very quickly and leaves a spotty lace on the glass. The aroma contains adjuncts, light malts and a very faint touch of hops. The taste starts out bready with flavors of adjuncts. Then some light malt sweetness comes in with a very mild hops presence in the background. The after taste is lightly bready and slightly sweet. The mouthfeel is crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

S6L1F3TO Plain old pale lager yellow without any visible carbonation or head. Weirdly silent. Has an almost sweet heller olfactory, very close. No sign of cheap beer yet. Palate carbonation is very good on the initial swig. No sign of offensive beer attributes. Not bitter and not processed. Fairly smooth cheap lager @ $14 per 30-12 oz. Refreshing for a cheapie, none of the terrible gag reflex lager here. It is drinkable for a session beer.

Just like the original, it's a good, average beer. It'll never win a doggone award or anything, but hey, they're probably not trying to. They're just trying to offer a good product for a good value.

Pours hazy golden with thin white head and some lace. Pungent aroma of malts, hops, and some by-product of mechanized processing. The mouthfeel is smooth, full-bodied, zesty - great for being "light". Flavor of grain malts, some hops, some bitterness, and light lemon/citrus. This is not bad for cheap beer, just like Strohs. In fact, it is nice to taste a lighter version of Strohs.

Sampled from can. For the style, a light lager (American), this is the best I've had. Just for fun, I tried a parallel sample with a Bud Light. How anyone could chose a Bud Light over Stroh's Light is beyond me. This is a very clean beer, but unlike many example of this style, there is a decent malt profile and a bit of hops. Unlike other reviewers, I noted no distinct adjunct flavors (dms). A good beer for what it is, but you still won't catch me pounding many of these. Perfect campout fare.

OMG! this is the worst shit that I have ever expierienced. Very watered down. Not good, and definetley horrible.(just like my spelling). Cant stand watery beers, and this is the worst offender.

Oh hell ya, it certainly took me long enough to score this one. Very yellow, very watered down, very little taste, dirty dishwater aroma, and of course it has the metallic corn thing goin on.

Strohs is a fine swiller if I may say so myself. A pale yellow color with a large head. Not much flavor to speak of really. Good for a night of pounding beer but not much else.

What can I say, another crappy American beer. I'm not going to waste my time describing the characteristics of this brew because we hold such truisms to be self evident - that this beer sucks by comparison to most of the others I've reviewed. Period.
