Big, overhyped imperial stouts, amirite? This one on fleek tho. The most amazing collaboration ever with Casita Cerveceria.

Pours deep sable just a flea’s eyebrow above black with a very thick chocolate-brown head. Aroma delivers strong roasted malt, smoky, coffee, licorice and toffee tones. Flavor nicely echoes the aroma, while tossing in a hint of anchovy. Viscous body features good fizz. Le fleek, c’est chic!

Pours an opaque black color with small mocha colored head that leaves sheets of lacing on my snifter. Dark chocolate, malted milk balls, char, vanilla, caramel and roast malt aromas. Char/deeply roasted malt leads the flavors with bittersweet chocolate and graham crackers with a hint of vanilla. A bit of booziness on finish. Mouthfeel is medium to slightly thick. An impressive Imperial Stout that could do some damage if you decide to have more than one or two. This beer was a rare find in a local craft beer store/bar. Worth trying.
