Das Sternquell Diät Pils wird seit 1969 im Hause Sternquell gebraut. Die Brauerei ist zu diesem Zweck mit der modernsten Alkoholreduzierungsanlage für Diätbier in Deutschland ausgestattet. Es war immer das Bestreben der Braumeister, keinen Geschmacksunterschied zwischen Pils und Diät Pils entstehen zu lassen, und so schmeckt das Sternquell Diät Pils genauso frisch und herb wie ein Pils schmecken muß. Nicht ohne Stolz nimmt die Sternquell-Brauerei in den neuen Bundesländern eine führende Marktstellung im Diät Pils-Segment in Anspruch. Das Sternquell Diät Pils ist für Diabetes mellitus-Erkrankte geeignet. Kalorienbewusste Biertrinker kommen natürlich ebenfalls geschmacklich voll auf ihre Kosten. Das Sternquell Diät Pils hat einen Alkoholgehalt von 4,9 Vol. % und eine Stammwürze von 11 %. Erhältlich ist es im Handel in der NRW-Flasche 0,5l und der Longneckflasche 0,33 l.

500 ml capped bottle, as Sternquell Siebziger Pils, the new name of Sternquell Diät-Pils. Poured a clear and golden yellow coloured Pilsener with a two fingers almost white, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is faint grainy sweety malts, notes of cooked vegetables, faint floral hops and a touch of hay. The flavour is faint sweety malts, light hoppy bitter, herbal notes. The mouthfeel is clean and light bitter. The texture is watery. This light bodied Pilsener has a dry light bitter finish. May be a new name for the old Diät-Pils, calling back an " Ostalgie ", but in this " Siebziger Pils " there is nothing from the old " East Pivo ".

Bottled@Björntasting. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is honey, grains, some diacetyl and mild saltwatery notes. flavour is malts, fruits, hops, grass and some slight harsh papery notes as well.
