Well, this was actually something of an eye-opener, to be honest.

How so? Only in that I picked it up for a lark -- for sheer laughs, if you will -- for something like 60¢. And I figured, if nothign else, it would go down easy enough while I put together some Ikea furniture back at the condo.

But surprisingly, this wasn't all that horrible. Definately takes the cake for the lightest "table beer" I've ever had (both in body and ABV%), for this did kill a thirst and go down easy enough.

Now granted, with something this paper-thin, one can't expect to find too much in the way of life in the flavor profile. But even still, this has enough standard Pride Of Ringwood hops to at least be distinguishable from the background noise (an acquired taste, hop-wise).

Better than the standard Steinlager, IMHO -- and even then that's not saying much.

A lark of a beer, that I can't say disgusted me. And that's a lot more than I expected from this, to be honest!

Music: Genesis' "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway".
