Stanley Park Brun is an authentically crafted, Belgian-style Dark Ale. In development for over six months, this beer delivers a rich, dark colour with distinctive dried fruit aromatics. It derives its unique dark character and distinctive malt taste by adhering to the classic Belgian traditions of brewing well-balanced winter ales, a process originally perfected by Belgian Trappist monks centuries ago. Brun is well-balanced and very approachable, made with a precise blend of Crystal, Pilsner and Munich malts. The unique brewing process in a state-of-the-art five-vessel brew house delivers an exceptionally clean style of beer. This results in a large, lingering head with complex chocolate, roasted nut, and malt biscuit flavours. Unlike some of the traditional styles which can carry up to 8 or 9 percent alcohol by volume, Stanley Park Brun is more approachable with 5.5 per cent alcohol by volume.
