Another African brew from John: Poured a off-yellow colour with a small frothy top. Corn and grain immediately on the nose. Pretty malty in the taste, some hops near the finito. I guess i would have enjoyed it a tad bit more, had the aBV been 1.5% higher. Nonetheless, beggars can't be choosers. Thanks John!

Only have had this on draught in Botswana, but several times, and always served VERY cold. Usually about 10 Pula ($1.50 US) for a pint I just found my notes on this beer from the last trip. Pale yellow color and a very thin white head. Mouthfeel is extremely light and watery. Reserved aromas of light malt and faint hops. Taste is clean and refreshing, especially in the Okavango heat, but it is very light and slightly sweet; only faint malts in the background with a barely perceptible hop finish. Ubiquitous throughout Botswana, but rarely see this as the only available selection; luckily Castle or, better yet, Windhoek are usually available - both more flavorful choices. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Metallic nose along with weirdly sweet malts. Metallic flavour with malts and hops also kicking in. Harsh hoppyness in finish.
