This golden beer is refreshing, boldly crisp, full bodied, yet not overwhelmingly bitter. Locally harvested honey adds that delicate touch of sweetness that balances very nicely with newly developed aroma hops. This product is fermented with a classic Pilsner style yeast and allowed to lager several weeks before it is packaged.

Slightly below average and not very memorable. Surprising considering the northwoods has a great variety of honeys, especially the basswood honey. But this one is a better choice than Miller Lite, but if there is honey in here, its surprising.

This one poured a clear golden color with a thin head. It had a somewhat mild aroma with a strong honey flavor and little malt. Had a smooth balanced finish. I thought that there might be too much honey flavor, but after a few more ounces, it blends really nice on the palate.

Pours a bright golden colour with a small white head. This beer had a nice pleasent barbecue smell to it. Not smokey, but when i smelled it, i noticed an outdoor wisc barbecue in the aroma. sweet honey fountain!!

Pours slightly cloudy and straw-colored with a fine pure-white head. Faint flowery aroma. The flavor is smooth with understated hops and a noticeable honey accent, without being overly sweet. A nice, refreshing beer; not at all in the classic pilsner style but an interesting variation nonetheless.
