Poured a lightly hazy, brownish red color with a thin, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast, light chocolate, sweet caramel, butterscotch, and light anise? Taste of roasted caramel malt, nuts, light chocolate and smoke too. Finished with light, peppery alcohol. Very nice.
