Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. 2006 vintage, bottle #459. Reddish brown colour, off-white head. Strong aroma of rhum-raisin, malts, aromatic hops and alcohol. Malty sweetish flavour, somewhat alcoholic.

pours a reddish-brown colour under a nervous and very foamy creamy head; the nose shows some butterscotch but also, unfortunately some fermentation problems (notes of boiled vegetables); creamy mouthfeel and a good malt body; some initial tartness and a late bitterness on both parts of the sweet palate; a short caramel/vegetables aftertaste achieves to leave a very modest impression - a deception

Clear brown with a creamy white head. Malty aroma of caramel, pear and figs with a peaty undertone. Malty and round flavour of light chocolate, caramel, butter and fruit. Medium bodied. Long malty aftertaste.
