This beer has light caramel and roasted notes but is pleasantly light bodied. The hops are mild with a hint of citrus. This is a "bier" to greet the fall and bid farewell to summer.

Comes out of the tap a clear dark mahogany. Malty aroma has notes of cinnamon and cloves. Malty, spicy and slightly hoppy flavor has a hint of horehound. Smooth, firm body has plenty of fizz. Try this one if you’re ever in Reno.

a little light, even for the style, but the aroma is very good, quite similar to a dry irish stout. this dark brown ale is a bit thin, and lacking in finish, otherwise is tasty, if a little malt heavy.
