WOW!!! i reheheheally hope they decide to make this annualy. Even after having several other respected brewers rendition of a BB Stout over the last year, this one (had in March & April) is still the best. it let you know it was barrel aged, but not so strong that it was like having a bourbon with a side of stout. quite the opposite. perfectly aged. smooth as snot on a glass eye, velvety chocolate flavors, and a warm alcohol, malty finish. WOW!!! 2 years later finally had again...not quite up to par as one of my faves of all time, but pretty dang great. hides the abv better than just about any beer i've ever had...bourbon, chocolate, & coffee. just great!
