Les brasseurs de Cologne, voulant se défendre contre l’omniprésence de la pils en Allemagne, ont créé leur style: la kölsch Blonde limpide à la mousse fine, la St-Laurent a un nez de miel et de fruits jaunes, subtil mais envoutant. Son goût est légèrement plus sucré qu’amer, mais il reste assez léger pour que la bière disparaisse rapidement. Traditionnellement servie dans un verre de 200 ml, cette bière doit être apprivoisée toute une soirée.

Second of three Silo lager of the night. Clean, medium-golden colour with no visible carbonation (which the Desitka was very lively). A white cap, average stay and some light lacing spots. Herbal aromas with some pear notes, cereal malts and hints of corn, wheat (bananas). The taste shows a nice balance of the cereal malts and fresh herbal-grassy hoppiness. A tad sweetness, but the hops take car of it to not linger too much. A nice refreshing Kölsch with a good blend of malts and hops.
