Pours out in a viscous opaque black appearance with a small yet firm pale brown head. Big, thick and deep aroma of brown sugar, chocolate sauce, candied prunes, licorice, sweet black coffee, figs and bitter black coffee. Huge thick body of black bittersweet coffee, star anise, prunes, figs, sweet licorice, milky chocolate, burnt malts and dates. Well-hidden alcohol (at least in aroma and flavor). Thick, thick body. Long bittersweet finish of milky chocolate, prunes and sweet licorice with bitter undertones of black coffee. Wow, quite a experience even it could be cloying in larger quantizes. Well done!
