We aged this rich, chocolatey imperial stout in bourbon barrels with a mix of both red currants and black currants for a pop of sweet and tart flavor. The deep, roasty notes of the stout blend well with the berries and barrels to create complex flavors of cocoa and coconut with a mellow fruit undertone.

Pours coffee sable with a good tan head. Aroma presents roast malt, caramel, chocolate and molasses notes with a berry hint. Flavor ups the berries - currants? - for a distinctive stout. Mouthfeel presents firm body and good fizz. Q: What kind of fruit do you get from an electric plant? A: Currants! Yuk, yuk, yuk.
