Far from a great effort by Sierra Nevada. The pour is a solid mahogany. The head is a thin tan ring. Laving is decent. Aroma is molasses, peat, grains, and yeast. Thin mouthfeel for the style. Bourbon comes through with the flavour but clashes with the peat and sweet malt usually associated wioth Scottish ales.
