Brewed with our friends at High Sierra Music Festival. FestivALE is a beer in perfect harmony. A beautifully balanced golden ale with high notes of bright and floral hops and a driving baseline of complex but drinkable malt flavor. It’s perfect for a weekend in the hills with good music and great beer.

Sampled on tap at the Sierra Nevada Mothership/Tap Room on 6/22/2011. This golden ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized fairly dense white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is cereal, grainy, fruit and sweet with some hoppiness. A medium bodied golden ale. The malts are cereal fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and citrusy. Very nice carbonation, lots of little bubbles. This beer has the sweetness and fruitiness of a golden with the hoppiness of an IPA of a pale ale. Interesting combination. Crisp and clean, light and refreshing with a nice dry finish. A great beer to sip on a 100 degree Chico day. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
