Tasted at the 16th Bistro IPA Festival on April 6, 2013. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, yeasty, sweet and estery. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. A very Belgian Like beer, fruity and estery. The bitterness kind of sneaks up on you, builds as you go. Nice carbonation. Lots of residual sweetness, and some nice bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Not sure why blonde is in the name, as this isn't any lighter than a score of IPAs I can think of off the top of my head. Aroma and flavor are dominated by a clove like spiciness and the hops only shine through as a herbal pleasantness. A nice beer, not a good IPA. Hmmm...
