This German-inspired Pilsner in collaboration with Shoreline Malting and Island Hop Company is our first addition to the Shipwright lager family. Brewed with Atlantic grown and malted Pils/Chit malt blend give this a distinctive Pilsner grain profile. This combined with additions of Magnum and Tradition hops right from our own Maritime backyard bring a lovely floral presence with just the right amount of bitterness. Our brewmaster Kellye Robertson had been waiting for the right opportunity to make her way back to lager land! And as Peninsulas go in Lunenburg, this is the “First” and you can be sure theres a “Second“ down the road.
