Cross Island Common is our modern take on the California Common style. Munich, Vienna, English Cara and flaked Barley make up the malt bill. Perle hops added to the kettle and dry hopped with Eureka. Herbaceous hop forward aromatics with a candied orange undertone that lead to a palette of red berry fruits and toffee with a bitter yet clean and crisp malty finish. Cross Island divides the approach to the Lunenburg bay into two channels. Known for it’s iconic lighthouse; it’s fog horn is fondly remembered as a common sound by locals from Blue Rocks to Lunenburg!
