Received from my buddy Brian on his most recent trip to Romania. It was a decent, pretty average pale lager that begs to be slammed quickly. First pour and I’m thinking...hey, not bad. But after about 5 minutes of getting a bit warm, some really odd men’s room/urine stank started filling up my nose. You know, when you’re standing there and doing you’re business at the urinal and you can’t help but smell the surroundings...well, that’s what started filling my senses. Appearance wise, a pale, pale watercolor yellow, crystal clear with some large bubbles gathering at the bottom and floating up lazily. Flavor wise, it was pretty clean actually. Light apple juice-like flavors make up the most of this beer. Mouthfeel is watery, but slightly prickly. Finish is clean. Not bad, save for the aroma.
