Tasted at the 2004 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is chocolate and toffee. A medium bodied Imperial Stout. Malts are chocolate and toffee. Nice roasty malts. Nice smooth taste. Well balanced. Touch of vanilla and coffee beans. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This impy stout pours with a black body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is malty with a slight sweetness and a nice bitterness with some chocolate notes. The flavor is slightly sweet yet slightly bitter with a nice chocolate note and some malty notes. Full bodied, smooth and slightly dry.
