This specialty beer is crafted with the addition of forty pounds of honey, which is added during the boil and provides a distinctive character. While the sweetness is generally removed during the fermentation, the honey character can be detected in both the aroma and flavor of the beer.

Well done with the honey, which comes through obviously, but not overbearigly so, in the aroma and flavor. Otherwise, a rather light easy drinking summer session beer.

This brew pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing left behind. The aroma and flavor are both sweet and malty with a slight hint of honey and a slight mustiness. The flavor also has a hint of hops in it. Light bodied and smooth.
