“Schnapsidee” an impractical idea, which seems brilliant when one is drunk, something that applies to most of us at one point or another in our lives. A Classic German style Pilsner brewed with all German malts and hops, crisp, clean and refreshing. Remember just because you think of an idea when you drunk, does not make it a good one!

Tall can from the Beer Store. Pours a huge frothy off-white head with thick soapy lacing and has a clear golden appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of grainy and wheaty malts. A bit grassy as well. Flavours are wheaty and grassy, some notes of grains, a little bit herbal. Good retention. Drying mouthfeel.

Oh boy, I do feel a little infection in here. Luckily, it is quite mild and the Pils spiciness takes over. Slightly unfiltered, bright yellow colour with a nice frothy, kind of creamy warm head on top that stays a while and creates creamy-foamy lacing. The very mild sourness seems to go away slowly (which is awesome) leaving a grainy cereal nose with light spicy hops. The hops takes more space in the taste with the grain stepping back. Wet mouthfeel and above average body, but not too heavy with the help of a little dry hopness. A decent Pilsner all-around, just wish those tank could get cleaned up to the max.
