Matured in Tennessee Ehiskey barrels for over four months, this Wheat Wine Ale delivers multiple layers of flavour complexity. Comprised of 50% Wheat Malt plus a combination of Pilsner and Munich Malts. Fruity-ester characteristics are beautifully complemented byu vanilla-like flavours and tannins imparted from the barrel-aging process. US Columbus Hops provide a lusty black currant flavour and balanced finish. Bottle-conditioning results in natural carbonation and sediment - pour gently. Drink today or cellar for up to a year.

Bomber from Central City, acquired March 2012. Confession time - should NOT have opened this on the other night, as I was already shitfaced. So, this is tainted. I'll try and get another one, tough though it will be as this is a seasonal. If I'm lucky, you'll eventually get a 'better' review. Brown pour, some haze, smallish tan head. From what I recall, this was a very agreeable BW, thick mouth, lots of alcohol for the nose and the palate as well, hints of bourbon, plus a sweetish finish. Nice one, Russell.
