Descended from a notorious clan of Scottish lore, Head Brewer Dan Lipke channeled the Tartan Tapestry encoded in his DNA to create a formidable Wee Heavy Ale. Tasting Notes Brewed with Scottish Golden Promise barley malt, Royal Standard’s deep, malty fullness leads to a hint of floral tenderness. Ask yourself, “who needs a reason to ride the lion?” Hops Nugget

Remarkably undetectable nose. Hazy copper body with a head that disappears almost instantly and leaves no lace no skim coat. Mouth is thin the decent tingle perhaps slightly under carbonated. Flavor is sweetish moderately toasted malt. Alcohol will masked, not complex, it's actually pretty tasty.
