Comes out of the tap a rich clear reddish copper with a not very thick but fine-bubbled head. Malty aroma has undertone of cinnamon. Rich, malty, spicy and lively flavor has a hint of hops and a firm cinnamon undertone. Texture is lively, fizzy and edgy, leaving a spicy finish.

Purchased from Steins Deli in New Orleans for $4.89, 7oz bottle .. . Pours a deep cloudy brown, looks like swamp water, almost no foam .. . smell and taste are scary, gotta be past its prime .. . maple and monkeys ass .. . a waste of 5 bucks .. . . What is it? - I don't know, but I'm really hoping it's cats that look like Hitler, because I can never get enough of that.

caramel, toffee, and hops on the nose. thick body and feel, even look. for the extra coin, not really better than the original, but not bad either. flavor similar to the nose with a bitter finish. 9/11 - a little fruitier, and a little better, on tap.

Toffee with some dark fruit, hoppy with hints of grass. Brown color, hazy with an off white head that didn't loast very long. Lacing not particularly good. Medium-full body that starts off a little smooth and creamy before adding a hop bite. I enjoyed the beer, but coming from one of their 7oz XS bottles made it a little lame for drinking at home!

I found this beer at the Kroger in Roanoke located on 4404 Brambleton Lane (this grocery store has one of the most outstanding beer and wine selections I have every seen at a grocery store). In any event, this beer was very enjoyable, was creamy and well hopped in the English style. I would have this beer again. My only complaint is the price of the bottle for the size - 3.99 for 7 ozs. I am not big on the Rogue minis.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small white foam. Flowers, soap and grapefruit in the aroma with touches of caramel and cookies. Medium to full-bodied with touches of grapefruit, grass, soap and cookies. Long bitter finish of grass and grapefruit.

Dark reddish copper body with a thick tan cap that reduced to a ¼”. Very typical west coast hop aroma but does have some more malty characteristics than your average Rogue ale. Flavour is wacky old grass clippings, pine, sour yogurt and a suck your face in bitterness, but has a sweet start. Nice strong ale very drinkable but way over hopped for the style, but the malts where bold and tasty.

Poured out a very thin white cap that hangs out on the rims, some messy lacing. Brew is burnt orange / copper, maybe a bit of red. The aroma is interesting enough - mild, dusty, apricot, very flowery, biscuit, almost raspberry. The taste is ok but a bit disappointing - however, there is something different here, biscuit, some flowery and herbal hops to go along with very stiff bitterness, a touch of alcohol. The mouth feel is decent, fairly smooth, nice long lasting bitterness, medium to medium full bodied. A good beer but pretty much forgetable.

Poured an amber color with smallish head good lacing though. Aroma was citrus and lots of it and some caramel malts. Flavor was good, grapefruits and bready which i didn't expect with a floral hop. Not bad

Poured a full amber color, off-white head, solid lacing. The aroma was citrusey, toffee, light caramel. Flavor was bready, toffee, grapefruits, finishing with a firm bitterness, somewhat piney, especially for an ESB based beer. Mouthfeel was full, hearty, a little grainy. A nice beer relative to what they were attempting, although not one of the more attractive styles.
